I've needed the services of North End Motors twice in the past 4-5 weeks. I made an appointment in April because my brakes were bumpy and I needed an oil change. I spoke with Rick Travers and also mentioned that I may have a transmission issue because the gears werent shifting easily, he assured me that they would take a look. Rick even offered to have someone drive me back to work. What?? What company does that?? Apparently North End Motors does! My first call back that morning was from another service member who took the time to call a Kia dealership about my engine burning oil. That gentleman found out that I may be able to get a new engine replacement and gave me the name & number of a member of the service team at Braintree Kia to call for details. Who does that?? North End Motors does. Rick called later that day and said my car was ready. When I picked up my car, it was clean, ready and waiting for me. Rick and Team were friendly and professional. Fast forward to May 29, 2024. I pulled into my driveway and could not put my car into park. To shut it off I had to put the car in neutral and use the emergency brake so it would'nt roll into the street. Next morning I was terrified to drive it to work but I had no choice. I called North End Motors and spoke with Rick again. Within a minute he knew who I was and my car. I told them what was happening and asked if they could take a look at my car that morning. He said they could look to see what was wrong but depending on the issue they may not be able to fix it the same day if it was something like the transmission. No problem, I didn't want to drive it anyway. I dropped it off and Rick assured me he would call when they had a chance to look at. That day, I needed a ride to work so Rick asked another service member, John, to drive me. John was a very nice, respectful man and Funny too! Not even 2 hours later, Rick calls me about my car. I'm waiting for the $3-4k quote for a new transmission. It didn't come, Rick told me it wasnt the transmission but rather a broken switch and a rusty connector. He gave me the quote (it cost less than holiday meal shopping) and ordered the piece. He called back around 1pm and said the car was ready. I had my car back around 2pm that same day and it drives really well! And, yes, I can put it into park and any other gear I need. I can't stress enough how grateful I am to Rick and the rest of the Team at North End Motors. I felt heard when I talked to Rick about the issues I was having with my car. He was professional and sincere He also never pressured me into any other services that he didn't think the car needed. I highly recommend North End Motors for your car service needs. They are professional, reliable, and respectful. Who does that in this day and age?? North End Motors does! Ask for Rick, you won't regret it
